Ninya is currently working on the final research and pattern drafting for the new book she is working on with Jane Malcolm-Davies. The new book has the working title of The Typical Tudor and draws on information gleaned by the pair over the last ten years. During that time Ninya and Jane have analysed the references to clothing and textiles in nearly 20,000 Tudor wills and inventories, visited effigies in churches up and down the country and studied the extant remains of northern European sixteenth century dress wherever they may be. Their adventures have taken them near and far with valuable clues to tailoring and construction being discovered in examples located in England, Wales, Croatia, Germany, Labrador and the Netherlands.
